Shesto Ltd was founded in 1 907 by Nathan Shestopal who was later joined by his son Jack in 1921. Between them they developed the company over the next five decades. In 1963, Richard Shestopal, grandson of the founder and present managing director, came into the business bringing with him the experience gained from working in the watchmaking industry in Switzerland. During the 70's, besides selling to the existing watchmaking and jewellery markets, Shesto widened its interests and expanded its activities to include sales to new markets such as the model and hobby, precision engineering, electronic, dental and optical trades. In 1980, to help cope with this expansion, Lenny Klein joined the company from the accountancy profession and has further developed the company to reach a wide range of customers and markets worldwide.
